Very happy4
This is a great game. I love the original Mario and this is along the same lines but with a lot of upgrades. It's a lot of fun to play.

Wow, this game sucked.1
I thought this game sounded interesting. Thousand Year Door was pretty fun. I'd read a lot of the reviews and knew that it wasn't going to be a real RPG, but hey! You can flip over to 3D! How cool!!

I was extremely disappointed. The game is very simple. The graphics are awful, over-sized pixels. Flip over to 3D and it's hardly any different. And you can't even stay in 3D? Why?! On the Wii I expected so much more. I'd imagined an actually 3d, maybe even complex world when flipped. You get to see everyone from the side. And you can go in four directions. That's it. That's all they did with this interesting concept. You can't even look around. Not that there's anything to see ... I don't know why this isn't on the DS because they wouldn't have to change anything...

The game-play is very boring. Honestly, it felt like they were TRYING to think of ways to make it boring. There was actually a part where you have to hold down one button for about five minutes. I suppose they thought it would be funny... Well it wasn't. I just watched tv while I waited.

Then there's the dialogue, which I think has been covered by other reviewers ha ha.

For the record, I was pretty far into the game. So I did give it a chance. Got to the last door, and then got Tomb Raider Underworld and Resident Evil 4 in the mail. (both very fun!!~^ ^)

SO. This game was painfully stupid. Don't buy this game if you don't enjoy extremely slow paced side-scrollers. But if you miss old games and want some nostalgia, go for it I guess...

Don't Buy It! 1
To me this game is not worth $[...] let alone $[...]. The beginning of the game takes about 15 minutes just to tell you a story then you're stuck in the first "world" forever. I guess this game is good for those who have a ton of time on their hands, it's not for the casual gamer. I thought it would be more like the old school Mario and I was definitely disappointed!
